Bradford-on-Avon - 5 miles away from this very pretty town, with canal, locks, river, Tithe barn, and Saxon church. It also has lots of antique shops, many eating places and a swimming pool.
Lacock - National Trust village, used frequently for filming period dramas, most recently scenes from Harry Potter and Cranford.
Castle Combe - Very scenic village on the edge of the Cotswolds which also contains a racing circuit, kart track and skid pan.
